Sister Maureen Freihage, P.H.J.C., 99, of Union Road, Donaldson died Friday, November, 11, 2005 at 7:50 pm at the Catherine Kasper Home.
      
      
       Sister Maureen was born on September 3, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois to Peter and Angeline Freihage. She attended schools in Chicago, Illinois.
      
       Sister entered the convent on June 25, 1940 and professed her first vows on June 25, 1942.
      
       Sister Maureen had an extensive work history the spanned nearly 50 years and three states. She first started in the business office at St. Anne?s Hospital, Chicago, Ill. 1941- 1943, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Chicago, Ill, 1943- 45, St. Joseph Hospital, Ashland, Wis, 1945-50, Assistant Administrator, St. Mary?s Hospital, Superior, Wis. 1950-61, Administrator, St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawka, Ind, 1962-63, Administrator, St. Anne Hospital, Chicago, Ill, 1963-69, Assistant Administrator, St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, 1969-82, Administrator, Ancilla Domini Convent, 1982- 86 as a Superior and a Provincial Secretary. Holy Cross Parkview Hospital, Plymouth, 1986-87, Pastoral Care Coordinator.
      
       Sister retired in 1987 and moved to the Catherine Kasper Home Donaldson, Indiana.
      
       Sister Maureen is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
      
       A Mass of Christian burial for Sister Maureen will be held on Tuesday, November, 15, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Catherine Kasper Home.
      
       Visitation for sister will be held at the Catherine Kasper Home on Monday, November, 14, 2005 from 4:30 to 9:00 pm with a wake service to take place at 7:00pm.
      
       Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson, Indiana.
