Robert L. Hill

August 30, 1943 - February 21, 2005

       Robert Hill, 61, State Road 17 North, died at his residence of natural causes.
      
       A lifelong Marshall County resident, Robert was born on August 30, 1943, the son of Marion and Dorothy Smith Hill. He attended high school in Detroit, Michigan and on June 21, 1962, enlisted in the United States Army.
      
       He was a truck driver for 16 years for US Scrap.
      
       Robert was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge, Indiana ABATE and the Culver Eagles.
      
       He is survived by two daughters and their spouses: Doreen and Dewayne O?Connor and Renee and Jake Davenport, all of Plymouth.
      
       Four grandchildren also survive. They are Christopher O?Connor, Stacy Vangiesen, Austin O?Connor and Dalton Davenport.
      
       Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. They are: Madysen O?Connor, Chayse O?Connor, Mekenna O?Connor, Masen O?Connor, Brenden Carey and Tianna Reed.
      
       A sister, Betty O?Connor of Bremen survives as well.
      
       Friends will be welcomed by Robert?s family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.
      
       Military graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2005, in the Leiters Ford Cemetery, Leiters Ford, Indiana.
