Lifetime Marshall County resident, Harold C. Trump, 15633 Redwood Road, Culver, Ind., 87, died of natural causes in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, at 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2004.
He was born in Bremen, Ind., on February 8, 1917, the son of Clarence E. and Clara J. Bohmer Trump and was a 1935 graduate of Plymouth High School.
During World War II, Harold served with the 8th Air Force, 100th bomb Group at Thorpe Abbots Field, England. He was an armorer on B-17?s.
On January 5, 1952, in the First United Methodist Church, Plymouth, Harold and Dorothy M. Henderson were married. Dorothy preceded him in death less than three months ago, on December 23, 2003.
Harold had been a production worker at McCord?s Corp. in Plymouth for 37 years, retiring in 1982.
An avid reader, he also enjoyed farming and woodworking.
Harold is survived by a daughter and her husband, Sylvia and Milton Zimmerman, Plymouth.
A granddaughter and her husband of Wheeling, Ill., Valerie and William Burgdorf and a grandson, Todd Patterson, Mishawaka, Ind., also survive, together with three great-grandchildren and a nephew, Michael Trump of Argos.
In addition to his wife and parents, Harold was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Patterson, a brother, Albert M. Trump and a nephew, Arthur H. Trump.
Visitation and sharing of memories with Harold?s family will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2004, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services in the funeral home will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. The Rev. Pat Orr will officiate.
A member of the American Legion, military graveside services will be provided by the Plymouth VFW Post 1162.
Interment will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts may be given in Harold?s memory to the Plymouth Wesleyan Church or to the Marshall County Hospice.
