Jose Ramirez, 64, of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 in Mexico.
      
       Jose was born on January 8, 1956 in Santiago Capitiro, Guanajuato, Mexico to Elias Ramirez Rangel and Enedina Ortiz Arroyo. He married on July 11, 1982 in El Sabino, Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Arroyo Villagomez, she survives.
      
       He was a hard worker his whole life working for his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. He enjoyed spending time with family and being outdoors. He liked to watch classical movies. He is remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
      
       Jose was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
      
       He is survived by his wife Maria Ramirez, and children, Jose Ramirez (Maria) and their children Miyali, Isaiah, and Josiah; Mauricio Ramirez and his daughters Miel, Ania, and Eiza; Erika Santos (Alberto) and their children Dylan and Everlyn; and son Jesus Ramirez. He is also survived by his siblings Elias Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez, Adela Ramirez, Gloria Ramirez, Carmen Ramirez, Lola Ramirez.
      
       He is preceded in death his parents Enedina Ortiz Arroyo and Elias Ramirez Rangel.
      
       A private family Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 612 N. Center Plymouth, Indiana with Father John Korcsmar, C.S.C. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
      
      
       Masks will be required for all in attendance for the services for Mr. Ramirez.
