Hector Oviedo, 72, peacefully passed away with his family near his bedside on Monday, July 13, 2020 at the Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana.
      
       He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 10, 1947 to Hermenejildo and Soledad (Molina) Oviedo.
      
       On March 10 1973, Hector married Maria I. Mendoza in Plymouth, Indiana.
      
       He adored his grandchildren and loved being with them. Hector also liked to read.
      
       He is survived by his wife, Maria, of Plymouth and their children: Monica (Tom) Coffey of Plymouth, Hipolito Omar Oviedo of South Bend and Millicent Oviedo of Bremen; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and one on the way.
      
       Family services will take place at a later date in Mexico.
