Elias Luva Rosas went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 7:40 a.m. surrounded by loving family.
      
       Elias was born on May 24, 1950 in Santiago Capitiro Guanajuato, Mexico to Jesus Luva Jurado and Maria Rosas Rosas.
      
       On January 14, 1975 in El Sabino, Salvatierra Guanajuato, Mexico, Elias married Maria.
      
       He worked for U.S. Granules for 22 years before having to step down due to health issues.
      
       Elias is loved and survived by his wife of 43 years, Maria, and his children: Elias (Cecila Ramirez) Luva Jr., Maria (Juan) Ramirez, Veronica (Enrique) Morales, Yadira (Alberto) Vargas and Joe (Krista) Luba, all of Plymouth; his mother, Maria Rosas Rosas of Mexico; 17 grandchildren: Jose, Jovanny, Gaby, Jonathan, Gladys, Milagros, Estefania, Dayanara, Alberto Jr., Aiden, Juan Diego, Joshua, Yuritcy, Damien, Jazmine, Jose Elias and J.J.; 5 great-grandchildren and 4 on the way: Alec, Angel, Sofia, Alexa, and Carter; 10 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
      
       He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.
      
       Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 612 N. Center Street, Plymouth. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
      
       Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the church prior to the start of the 7 p.m. Mass.
      
       Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.
      
       Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with funeral arrangements.
