Joan Theresa Burke, 52, of Madison Street Plymouth, Indiana passed away on Sunday evening January 28, 2018 at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Plymouth, Indiana.
      
       She was born on August 9, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Leon and Mary Ready Burke and they preceded her in death.
      
       Surviving are two sisters, Mary Lee Burke of Plymouth, Indiana, and Deborah Payton of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Also surviving are two nephews William Burke and Joseph Burke and one niece Debbie Burke.
      
       She enjoyed sports and wheel of fortune, and Special Olympics. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Plymouth, Indiana.
      
       Per Joan's request, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date at the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
