Marilyn Kay Couts

December 23, 1961 - August 1, 2016

      Marilyn Kay Couts, 54, a resident of Plymouth since 1974, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Community Hospital of Bremen.
      
       Marilyn was born December 23, 1961 in Knox, Indiana, to the late Harold P. and Edna H. (Miles) Couts.
      
       She had worked at the Marshall-Starke Development Center as well as Manitou Training Center in Rochester. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed country music and coloring.
      
       Surviving is a nephew; Jarrod J. Couts, niece; Jennifer J. and Kevin King, all of Plymouth, great nephews; Nathan and Ethan King and a great-niece; Elizabeth King. Also surviving is a sister-in-law; Rose Cook of Plymouth and her long time care-giver; Tracy Stacy of Knox.
      
       She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother; Wayne A. Couts.
      
       Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 4, 2016 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, with Pastor Charles Krieg officiating.
      
       Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
      
       Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
