Katherine G. Rohrer

January 18, 1934 - January 6, 2016

       Katherine G. Rohrer, 81, a resident of 1122 W. LaPorte St., Plymouth for the past 35 years was called from her home to the home her Savior prepared for her in Heaven at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was in the care and company of her dear family and Heartland Hospice.
      
       She was born Katherine Gray Lindsey on January 18, 1934 in Kyrock, Kentucky the daughter of Denny and Georgia (Lashley) Lindsey. She attended school in Kyrock.
      
       Katherine was a loving and hard working mother of six children always providing for them physically and spiritually so that they and others would know Jesus Christ. She dedicated her life to her church the United Pentecostal ? House of Prayer. There she was a Sunday school teacher and a great cook known for her Swedish meatballs. Katherine was all about flowers, lace and ruffles. She collected dolls and crafted many things with her hands to share with others.
      
       On October 6, 1990 at home, she became the bride of David D. Rohrer who survives along with her six children. They are: Jesse R. (Cindi) Price of Grovertown, Edward O?Neal, ?Neal? Price of Marion, Margie A. (Victor) Anthamatten of Tulsa, OK, Georgia J. (Chuck ?Buck? Smith of Plymouth, Carl L. Price of Tulsa and Raymond ?Mark? Price (and Melissa ?Missy? Patrick of Plymouth. Eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren also survive with one sister Betty E. Bohanon of Clarksville, IN and mother-in-law Phyllis E. Rohrer of Nappanee.
      
       She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters; Lucy, Irene and Topsey.
      
       Family and friends will gather at Katherine?s church home, the House of Prayer located at 12450 Plymouth-Goshen Trail on Sunday, January 10th from 2 ? 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 11th at the church with calling one hour prior to services. Pastor Nathan Haner and Rev. Robert Schultz will preside.
      
       Burial will follow in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
      
       Preferred expressions of sympathy are memorial gifts to the House of Prayer.
