Paul Frederick Schoff, 78, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 at 5:49 am in Memorial Hospital of Logansport.
Born July 27, 1936 in LaPorte, IN he was the son of the late Lester and Verna Louise (Short) Schoff.
Paul was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed going to auctions, working on lawn mowers in his garage and was very proud of the fact he was a Veteran who served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include three daughters, Bernadine "Dee" McNally, Columbia City; Tina (Nathan) Smith, Columbia City; Paulynn "Lynn" Schoff-Budreau, Noblesville; four sons, Robert Schoff and companion Bert Dunfee, Logansport; Fred Lidy and companion Valerie Seward, Marion; Lewis Lidy and companion Elaine Lohr, Marion; Kenny Schoff, Michigan City; three brothers, Gene, Ben and Elwood Schoff; four sisters, Barb Gurnsey; Martha Young; Betty Slater; Lilian Schoff; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Plymouth Baptist Church 11345 9A Road, Plymouth on December 13, 2014 from 11:30 am ? 12:30 pm. A graveside committal service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Fairmont Cemetery, located north of Plymouth on Michigan Road. Military Honors will be provided by members of the American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign Wars ? Marshall County Post 1162 and the D.A.V.
