Longtime Plymouth resident, Beverly J. Goldt, 80 passed away at 5:12 p.m. Saturday, July 6th in her daughter Kathleen?s South Bend home following a sudden illness.
      
       She was born the daughter of Henry H. and Thelma E. (Baker) Haag in Tyner, Indiana on August 21, 1932. She was a 19?graduate of Tyner High School.
      
       Following high school she took a job at Labas Chevrolet in Plymouth, there she met her future spouse, Gerhart C. Goldt and the two were married at Tyner on Valentine?s Day in 1953.
      
       Beverly was also an Avon Representative and a sales clerk with J.C. Penney Co. in Plymouth.
      
       An avid card player, she loved to attend garage sales, enjoyed cooking and baking and assisting with various charitable organizations in the community.
      
       As a member of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, she volunteered with the Cradle Roll program.
      
       Beverly is survived by her three children, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. They are: son Herbert C. and Bonnie Goldt of Athens, Georgia and their children; Michael Z. (Tera) Goldt, Angela M. Goldt and Jessica S. (Will) Elder. Son Fred Goldt of Walkerton and daughter Kathleen M. Goldt of South Bend complete her immediate family along with a brother Carl N. Haag of Plymouth.
      
       She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and a brother Charles Haag.
      
       Family services will be held. Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
