Levi F. ?Bill? Edgerley, 88, living at 13250 Rose Rd., Plymouth until July of this year when he moved to the Indiana Veteran?s Home, West Lafayette , died of natural causes at 10:45 a.m. on Wed., Oct. 16, 2002 .
Levi was born in Delphi, Ind., on Dec. 1, 1913, the son of Walter and Emma Arion Edgerley.
He served in the United States Army during W.W. II., and was a member of the Lafayette American Legion Post.
On Aug. 26, 1939 , in Delphi , Levi and Ruby L. Horton were married. She preceded him in death on November 10, 1990.
Employed at the Harry B. Franklin Salvage Yard in Plymouth , Levi, a stock car racing fan, enjoyed fishing in the local lakes.
A sister, Thelma M. Ronk, Plymouth, survives his death. Also surviving are; a step-grandson, Jimmy Lee Edgerley, Fla. and two step great-grandsons. Nieces and nephews include; Shirley & Ed Rusher, Patsy & John Kuhn, Bill & Karen Ronk all of Plymouth, Peg & Mike Perdue of Rochester and Charley Brady of Michigan also survive.
Levi was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and James H. Farkas-Edgerley, a step-son.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 , from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St. , Plymouth .
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Charles Krieg, pastor of the Salem United Methodist Church, Bremen, will be on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Graveside military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Marshall County Post 1162 will be held at Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
