Former Plymouth resident, Joseph H. ?Joe? Summerlin, 95, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2011.
      
       Joe was born January 23, 1916, in Missouri where he met and married, Maurine, the love of his life for 74 years. Prior to her passing in 2009, they made their homes in Missouri, Indiana, Florida, and Arizona. While living in Plymouth, Indiana during the 50's and 60's, Joe was a Surge Dairy Farm Equipment sales and service dealer for central and northern Indiana. He also built the Plymouth Motel, Mundy's Restaurant, The Ridge Building, and the Grace Baptist Church.
      
       Family and friends will lovingly recall Joe as a kindhearted, generous man of high principals and integrity. In life, he earned our deepest respect and love. In memorial, we offer gratitude for being embraced by his loving spirit. He will be missed beyond measure by his daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry (Jim) Rogers and Donna (Mickey) Momeyer. His seven grandchildren Troy(Karen) Hackett, Trent (Julie) Hackett, Tyson (Laura) Rogers, Tynsley (Slade) Smith, and Scot (Tracy) Moren, Kelli (Glenn) Rhoda, Wynne(Todd) Melton, and 13 great-grandchildren.
      
       Services will be private with internment in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
