Claudine V. Bottorff, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:40 pm in the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center where she has made her home for the past five years. Claudine and her family were former residents of North Center Street in Plymouth.
Claudine was born in Bremen, Indiana on October 17, 1923, the daughter of Claude and Frances (Fetters) Booker.
She attended Bremen High School.
On May 23, 1941 in Plymouth, Claudine married Hilliard R. Bottorff, he preceded her in death on February 25, 1984. Together they had seven children.
Her working career outside of raising a family was at Plymouth Wagner Wire ? United Technologies from 1959 ? 1986.
Claudine enjoyed watching the Cubs and NASCAR races, listening to Country Music, collecting Teddy Bears and dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving children are: Marsha (David) Henry of the Lake of the Woods, Brenda (Rex) Senff, Larry (Debra) Bottorff, Bruce (Janis) Bottorff and Bill (Candy) Bottorff all of Plymouth. An infant son Terry, a son Kent and sister Juanita Wagoner also preceded in death.
Twelve grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 4th in the Oakhill Cemetery, the Rev. Charles Krieg will preside.
