Ellen ?Eloise? Edging, 83, 6th St., Plymouth, passed away peacefully in Miller?s Merry Manor, Plymouth, at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
      
       Ellen was born in Logansport on Dec. 30, 1925. She was the daughter of Harry and Hattie Shearer Bopp. She graduated from Logansport High School in 1944. On May 29, 1958, in Logansport, she and Samuel Edging were married.
      
      
       For several years Ellen was the Administrative Assistant at Divine Heart Seminary.
      
       She enjoyed fishing vacations in Minnesota and loved her golden retriever, Bailey.
      
       Ellen is survived by Sam, her husband of 51 years and by their son, John R. and daughter-in-law , Gayle, Vautaw of Walton, IN., and their daughter, Sue Edging of South Bend.
      
       Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.
      
       Friends are invited to share memories and visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
      
       Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Father Bernard Galic, will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in the funeral home.
      
       Internment will be in the Camden Cemetery in Camden, Indiana
