To the family of Agnes Martin,

I remember the family coming to Columbia City to have dinner at Robert & Mary {Martin} Adams house when I was living at home, I remember when Uncle Bud was raising chinchillas, I remember being at the Frank & Frieda Martin home for many family holidays & reunions, and I remember having a day long visit with Aunt Agnes in the summer of 2000 when I was camping at Hoffman Lake near Warsaw and my husband, Richard, was on a fishing trip to Canada. The last time I saw Aunt Agnes was at Karen's funeral but she & I shared a lot of Christmas cards over the years. She was a wonderful, kind, gentle woman and I wanted to send my sympathy to all of you.

Dear Judy and Carol,
Praying for you during this time of grief and loss. Your mom had a heart of gold, always giving and serving, a hard worker, compassionate, and always welcoming my sister and I whenever we played with Karen in our growing up years. SO MANY memories of her, your sister Karen, your dad, all of you! Your home was always so much fun to be at, whether we were making soup out of kool-aid and crackers in our metal glasses, or playing in the dirt and sand in your driveway, watching your dad harvest honey from the bees, and so many morememories - all precious! May you find comfort in the memories and carry on in your lives the gifts that she so freely gave!
