I enjoyed working with Ruth at JCPenney. She was a pleasant and productive co-worker. Very supportive and proud of her grandchildren.

When Uncle Jim called me to tell me, I told him that this was the first year I could ever remember not getting a birthday card from Aunt Ruth so I knew that she was not feeling well. Even as an adult, I looked forward to her and Aunt Laura's birthday cards every year. Such a kind and caring lady with a very distinctive laugh. I remember the daily 10:00 am calls she made to dad with an update on the Cub's schedule or the previous days game. I also remember going into Dave and Rays with mom grocery shopping and either she or Aunt Laura would be our cashier which I thought was pretty neat. As sad as her passing is and as much as she will be missed by those who had the honor of knowing her, there is some joy in knowing that she is once again with Uncle Jack, Grandma and Grandpa as well as her siblings.

Holli and all family;

There is now a hole in your family which will always remain. Sometimes you will fall into the hole, and at other times you may walk around. May the good memories always be with you, and may you treasure the love shared.
