Thank you Uncle Loren for all the good times. You were very patient when I was learning how to ski. I was not one of those folks that put on skis and just popped up out of the water. I got a lot of water up my nose. Took a bunch of spills. Got sunburned so bad I could not sleep (of course this was back in the days before sunscreen) . But I finally did it!!! The best part was the chocolate cake Aunt Bonnie always had waiting when we returned from a day on the lake. What great times I will remember forever.

Please enjoy eternal life, fix up somethings there in heaven and say hi to my dad and Grandma Voreis.

I know you made it and are settled in now. We have a light here at our house what flicks on and off multiple times a few days after a very close family member passes. It started after my dad passed. I think it is my dad sending a message. He let me know last night all is good. (I am really not crazy, this happens)

In 1975 Loren promised me he would "never make me sell the same customer twice." He kept that promise for the next 20 years we worked together. Loren was the best plant manager I ever had the pleasure to work with. He was respectful and fair to everyone who worked for him (they loved him) and he never missed a promise date and always made sure the shipment left 100% right.

He and Bonnie always took the time to make my family welcome in Culver and in Bradenton. My now adult kids still remember the strawberry shortcake Bonnie served to them in Bradenton in the middle of winter. They were just the best kind of human beings you could ever have the privilege to know.

Mark, Luann and Lorna, I am sorry I was responsible for them living so far from Culver those years he worked in Florida, but it was a nice place to go on vacation so there was some upside to it. Eileen and I are sorry for your (our) loss.
