My heart goes out to the family. Pastor Steve meant so much to so many people. He was always my go to guy for any of my questions. He never cared if he was busy or not. He would give me an answer or help me find the answer or hold me up in prayer until God revealed the answer. I will truly miss him.

To my Sister: My heart hurts when I think of what you are going through. Steve was your high school sweetheart and the man you loved with all of your heart and soul. When you are lonely, you only need to know that you are never alone. God is walking beside you through this journey. He will lift you up when you are weak. He will carry you when you feel like you can't take another step. You are surrounded by people who love you and believe in you. Remember, you are stronger than you think! Steve will be missed! He had such an impact on so many lives. I am sure God greeted him with "Welcome home son, job well done."

“To die means we are human. Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” Fred Rogers
