Ed & I enjoyed time we spent with Dottie & Henry!! They were both so kind & generous with their time. They invited us to their beautiful condo in Naples along with our son & his friend. We had 2 fun days with them.
Henry was always so up to date on news. I loved to visit with him. I know they were devoted to First United Methodists Church. They made a difference while they were active members. I am sure God is saying “well done my good & faithful servant”. Henry will be missed!!

For the family

Henry and I always had bantering conversation about so many different subjects. We enjoyed those times

Jerry and I were always welcome whether it was in Plymouth or the FL residence

Had the pleasure of being in classrooms with their sons and there were always stories!

Dave, Michael, and Nancy,,,,,, and Mrs. Butler,

How I enjoyed getting to know Henry, even better than growing up, when my folks moved into Miller's Assisted Living. We ate many meals together at Millers, and it was always comforting to see particularly my father and Henry sharing a table in the dining room. As you know, they were classmates. Henry was full of stories and was a delight.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to you all. RIP Henry Butler,,,,,,,,,, a man always with a smile.

I so well remember the Butler family from the First Methodist Church. When people are as kind and friendly as Henry and Dottie were, one cannot forget them. They exuded the love of their Savior and the Derf family always admired them both. May God grant you peace knowing that Henry is together with his lovely bride again and they are both in Paradise. What a great promise God gives us through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

The memories of the gatherings at Olive Trail are special, a time of family gatherings that were special. Our parents friendship was amazing and all the travels they enjoyed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I spent many hours at the Inwood Elevator in my youth. My father was Andrew Ritenour. He farmed the Jim Jenkins farm South of Inwood on 12B road. I used to drive wagon loads of ear corn over to the elevator to be ground into feed.
The School Bus that I rode on would drive past the elevator on it’s way to the Plymouth schools. Sometimes we would a couple of wagons with corn in the evening, then next morning I would drive them to the elevator to be ground into feed. The School Bus would pick me up at the elevator in the morning and drop me off there in the evening, and, I would then drive the tractor and ground feed home.
There are many examples of “country humor” that I could share with you from those days. I will share one of my favorites. One time I was headed to the Inwood Elevator and a tire blew on one of the wagons a short distance from the elevator. I walked the rest of the way to the elevator and told them I needed to call my dad because I had a flat tire. They then told me — “Brian, you know that if you just keep the flat side of the tire up, you can still drive the wagon.” After a few seconds of consideration, I said THAT WON’T WORK. Then laughter erupted from everyone (including 8 year old me). I also want you to know that Henry’s businesses had a major impact on the agriculture in the area.

Henry was always so friendly and interesting to talk to. We've missed seeing him in church. God bless you as your mourn his absence.

Dear Dottie.....My sincere sympathy in the loss of Henry. Herman -(who passed away in Feb. Of 2019) and I always valued your and Henry's friendship and the wonderful times we shared together when we lived in Bonita Springs, Fl. I am thinking of you. With my love and prayers.
