I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Patrick through his marriage to my niece, Shannon Steady Kauffman. Patrick was a kind soul and so easy and accepting to those he met. He mentored my great nephew, Nathan, and together with Shannon brought two beautiful children (Kaelyn and Jackson) into our family. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Patrick, for he was taken far too early from this earth. May all his family and friends take comfort in knowing their loss is felt by many others. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

I loved Patrick because he was such a nice and gentle man. I loved Patrick because he loved my daughter Shannon. I loved Patrick because he loved my grandchildren, Nathan Conger hudnut, Kaelyn Kaufman and Jackson Kaufman.
Patrick, Alan and I virtually toasted you and you will sorely be missed. Bless your heart Patrick and we will see you again in heaven.

Never forget the love I always had for you. I will always take care of our children and keep your memory alive! You are missed so much! I hope you’re dancing with Angels, mastered the guitar, and are a famous tattoo artist. I know GMom and PopPop were happy to see you. So long my friend. Until we meet again!
Kauffman strong all day long,
Shannon

Patrick and I were together many years ago, we had his first born son Elijah Kauffman in 1999. Although, we didn't keep in touch and the past wasn't always nice to us, I pray everyday for our son, Elijah and all of Patrick's Family. My condolences to his mother, father, sister and children! You will stay in my thoughts and prayers, ALWAYS!
