Evening Prayer is held every Wednesday in the chapel at St Paul's Retirement Community. On occasion I am the presider and conclude the service by personally blessing each one present. Something about Ray's demeanor led me late last year to ask him to be the lector and read the Scripture passage at the next service. Without hesitation he agreed to do it and did so in a gentle and faith-filled way that remains in my memory to this day. Be assured of my prayers for him and for all of his loved ones.
