I grieve for you all and for your questions left unanswered.
I know first hand your pain and wish I could take it from you.

James was always so caring and loving every time our paths would cross.
I was just re-reading the conversations he and I had online and
began to cry for the heartfelt messages James left me while I was grieving the loss of my wife.
I hope somehow my words can lighten the load placed on your hearts right now
in same the way James’s words did for me.

I understand all too well the battle he fought and like you all, am now filled
with the questions and horrors of asking “what if..”.
My heart breaks for all of you. All of James’s family & friends.
The loved ones.
The survivors.

The most horrific pain ever faced in life is that which comes from the loss of someone you love.
James was loved and thought of highly by so many. Many feel his loss. I am one of them.
Keep moving forward in knowing you do not grieve alone.
Knowing you are thought of often and knowing you are loved.
My condolences to all.

I had the honor of being a classmate, and friend, of James all the way from Kindergarten to our Senior Year.😌 On behalf of the PHS CLASS OF 1989, we send our deepest condolences to all of his family! We were all in shock and saddened when we heard the news. James was truly a hero to many of us. I am one of many who have struggled with depression, and we will work harder than ever to be there for each other when a classmate needs friend. Please know that your family will be in our prayers.🙏🏻

I attended and graduated High School with James. Such a caring and kind man. So sorry for your loss. Fond memories of him playing Prince Charming in Junior High production of Cinderella. May God watch over you and your children.

James was one of my favorite and mist loyal customers at The Cross Walk. We had many great talks, debates and laughs. I can still hear his laugh... He loved the Lord with his whole body, mind and spirit.... And what an amazing mind he had which he chose to grow his spirit with. For that I am eternally thankful.... The following scripture spoke to me daily during our family’s similar loss....

Hebrew 4:14-16
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our sorrows.... 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and prayers for all find grace to help us in our time of need.

May God's touch be evident today and in the days ahead. May He be real in an undeniable way to each of you. And may you as family and friends sense the deep assurance of mercy and grace that Christ offers each of us. May His strength be yours.... May you all continue to walk firmly in His grip....

So sorry but we will be out of town next week, our love and prayers are with you all....

Words cannot describe what you all are feeling. The Faulstich family was a part of my family growing up, living across the street from them in Carriage Hills. I have so many fond childhood memories spent with James and his brothers. I was blessed to later teach Drew in Second Grade at Webster. My mother-in-law, Diane Eveland taught with Michele at Calvary Lutheran. God gave me the blessing of having this wonder family in my life. I am extremely saddened and so sorry for the loss you all are feeling. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
