To all who knew and loved Kate, my love to you. I was only with her once at a small national meeting, but her passion and gifted advocacy for a more just Church were very inspiring. Thank you for loaning her to us all.

Sister Kate came into our lives at a very difficult time. We were one of the 13 parishes closed here in Cleveland by Bishop Lennon. It was a heart breaking time. Twelve of the 13 were opened , ours was not. Kate worked with us tirelessly but it was a lost cause. I was grateful for her help and friendship and we wee with her when she was honored later here in Cleveland for her accomplishments. I stayed in contact with her nad grew to care deeply for her. She gave home and comfort to so many and I know there are so many who would agree with me, she was an angle who came into our lives, when we needed hope and understanding. I am so sad we lost her, but I know heaven is brighter for her presence, and even God needs a caring, compassionate layer.

Thank your for sharing her with us .
