My condolences to the family. I have been thinking of Vivian for a couple of months now. Today the feeling was so strong that I decided to google her name, and found that she had passed in September about the time I starting thinking of her, like out of the blue for no apparent reason. And now I know why. I have had some very interesting conversations and belly laughs with her and Harry over the years. The last time was a few. years ago I was visiting Indiana from my home in Florida. I was browsing through Dollar General in LaPaz and noticed a familiar face looking through the anniversary card section. I kinda sneaked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked at me, like who are you. All I said was “Marilyn Mangus.” His face lit up like a lightbulb. He threw his arms around me and kissed my cheek; he was so excited to see me. He explained that it was their anniversary and he was looking for an appropriate card for Vivian. Then he asked me to follow him back to their house and surprise Vivian, which I did. I spent the entire afternoon with them reminiscing of old times and catching up on the latest local news, and of course belly laughing. We really had a wonderful visit. I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to visit them one last time. It was wonderful to know that they both had very deep feelings for me even after all these years . As you know Susan was my best friend, and I still miss her after all these years. We spent much time at each other‘s homes while growing up. So of course I got to know Vivian and Harry quite well. It was so nice to know that the connection was still there, after all these years and years apart, never the less. I felt close to them and deeply cared and loved them, and apparently they felt the same.
She was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend and will be greatly missed.

Again my sincere condolences.
