To the family:

Mar has left you all so many memories of calmness, love, , and her funny little laugh that we all knew.

Quiet, she was always friendly to all.

Doc, Bill and girls....... my heart is so saddened to see this. Yes, a classmate of Bills, but I am one she influenced as a very young child. She (as well as you Doc) will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart. Loved her from afar. Just can’t imagine not running into her at the grocery any more. Prayers as you make life “normal” without her. Very special lady!!

To Bob and family,

It is never easy to lose a loved one, no matter the situation or circumstances. It leaves a hole in your heart that only time can soften. I didn't see Mar often, but when I did, she always had a smile and a kind word. We were frequently in the same company.....when we were raising our families. She'll be sadly missed and you all have my sincere sympathy.

Mary Lee

P.S. Cindy, I'm forwarding this obit. to Ned.

My sympathies to the Vore Family. Mrs. Vore was my kindergarten teacher in 1960 at Jefferson. Since I was a year behind Bill in school, I would see her at events and she always made a point to speak to me. She was such a lovely and gracious lady.

On behalf of all of Mar's Tri Kappa Sisters in the Active and Associate Chapters in Plymouth, we would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the family. Mar will very much be missed at our meetings. She was a dear, calming and as shared earlier, that sense of humor was always a surprise and part of her charm! God Bless!

So saddened to learn of Mar' s passing. We served together on the Encore Performing Arts board for years...she was always an eager particopant. My thoughts and prayers with Bill and the family.

Please accept our sympathy for your loss of precious Mar. She was such a tiny but kind, gentle, and stunning lady. You and Mar have accomplished a job well done being an example to others of sweet love through a long lasting marriage. What more is there? Even with passion and purpose, without that love foundation nothing else matters.

Sending our love and sincerest sympathies to the Vore family!
We have many fond memories of our neighbor Mar growing
up on Nutmeg Road! Mar was such a lovely lady and had
a wonderful, caring nature about her. What a great example
of a life well lived! Our prayers remain with you!

Reading of the death of Mar was quite an unwelcome surprise. My first acquaintance with Mar was when she was teaching kindergarten at Jefferson Elementary, and I started as the music teacher there. She was impressive with her gentle control of the class. Over the years various contacts have taken place with the family. The string trio in which I play provided music for a family wedding, Bob as my optometrist at one time, additional contacts through the Church of the Brethren. All encounters have been positive and pleasant. Count your blessings for Mar being part of your family, and remember the good, positive, fun times.
