I am sorry for the loss of your mom Slemp family. She was a great lady and was a very good friend to my mom for a long time, but especially late in life.
This is a tough time I know, but your mom and dad are together again and that is a very good thing.
You're in my prayers

I am so very sorry about Mildred's passing. I so much enjoyed watching my dad and Chelse sit at the kitchen table and talk about their growing up years. They always compared their lives and I remember that I share a birthday with Susie, Chelse's daughter. Mildred was so sweet to visit my mom after the death of both their husbands. I have never known a family that made such an effort to stay in touch with their Lee County roots. Great memories of my parents and your parents.

Susie, Steve, Sandy, Shelia, and family...

Our prayers are with you all.... the peace of knowing God's love can comfort, but there will always be loss. Millie was such a wonderful and delightful person. I will never forget her smile, her contagious laugh, her reading, and all the haircuts she gave us in your upstairs kitchen. Millie would always say " people pay a lot to get your hair color... what blonde hair! I can think of only one time I remember her a little "ticked" at us... and that was when we carefully dumped about 100 rolls of toilet paper in your trees! We all are so lucky... being raised by great parents in a wonderful location and time. Peace be with you all.
