Diane,

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I enjoyed sparring with him when I worked at C&C Appliances next door to his shop on LaPorte Street. He had an awesome sense of humor and very quick witted and will be missed by those who had the pleasure to have known him.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I have so many memories and funny stories of us at Blueberry. My favorite is when a vendor gave us a 6 XL shirt and Dick and I put it on together. We laughed so much.

He was truly a great guy.

To my beloved family I share in our family's loss of Dick. But I must say that Dick's greatest achievements were you
kids,Bob and Diane. The last time I visited with my brother, he spoke lovingly of each of you and also how proud of who you have become. I wished I could have recorded this conversation to prove this. How he enjoyed talking of your parenting achievements. Dick's legacy continues in his grandsons Brad,Sam, Jacob,Stephen, and Eric who I know will fulfill Dick's wishes to become fine respectable men. Just know you all were loved by him and know that this aunt also love you too. It was an honor to have been a part in Dick's life. I,along with you, will miss him.

As one of Dick's classmates at Plymouth High School in 1961, I want to send my condolences to his beloved family members and the many friendships he enjoyed for all these years. His contributions to the community were greatly appreciated.

Dick was a really good guy. He came to Castaways in Plymouth very often and we enjoyed conversing with him. He was funny, always joking. It was a pleasure to serve him.

I use to love visiting Dick & Teresa when they had The Frame Shop. I enjoyed giving Dick a hard time and of course, he gave it right back. He was always in a good mood when I would see him after he sold The Frame Shop and we would chat and rib each other. I didn't realize he had been sick. My thoughts and prayers to the family and may he RIP.
