Marty and family, My deepest sympathy to you and your siblings on the loss of your father. Its tough to lose a parent. Your dad was very accomplished. He did a lot for Plymouth and the airport. He was a good father to all of you. I know he will be missed. I remember as a young boy you kids and the Danielsons and us would play together sometimes. Take care Marty.

To all my dear Palbykin cousins:

The world has lost a great force! My memories of Uncle Don are many, starting with abject fear of him as a child :). This view of him changed as I grew and witnessed firsthand his compassion and generosity. He was a hard-working man who expected nothing less from others. He was a fantastic provider. His keen moral compass, discipline and love helped him raise seven successful, wonderful children. He always made me feel welcomed. His stories were entertaining and his laugh contagious. He was a great brother-in-law to my mother and father.

Even though I haven’t seen him as frequently as I used to, he will be sorely missed and never forgotten. May his memories bring each of you smiles and comfort. Love you all. Sandy

Dear Palbykin family, as a young district manager for Wheelhorse in 1968 I had the great pleasure of meeting and traveling with Don in the pilot's seat. He was a remarkable gentleman who treated everybody well. He had a life well lived and I know he will be missed.
My condolences to you all.

My condolences to the Palbykin family. Marty, I have fond memories of you and your dad as a lad growing up around airport activities, including your professional flight instruction, working as a line tech my senior year and being around to watch the growth of Skystream as a FBO, charter service, and regional airline flying those "pink" Beech 99s. What a well run operation by your dad. Your Dad and my father Merlin, enjoyed countless hours together sharing their LOVE for flying, including a shared gyrocopter ownership with Phil Calvert. I will never forget them pulling that thing down the runway by rope to get a feel of rotor only operation when the rope broke. These guys wearing their 1950's football helmet that came with it was quite a sight!

Dad also enjoyed especially his time flying co-pilot in the Lear jet with Don to pick up some parts in Tennessee as well as working alongside him at Skystream Airlines as G.M. . Cherish those special memories as we remember your dad and all of his gifts in his remarkable life. Eternal wings well earned Don!
