So sorry. In 1984 I was in her elementary school. My mom had been killed and after that she would often call me down to her office just to hang out. She kept peanut brittle on her desk and would always let me just sit there and eat while she did her work. Another time I did something and had to get paddled. I think I was supposed to get 3 wacks but after the first one she started to cry. She didn't even hit me hard. I'm sure there are tens of thousands of stories like this. These are a just a couple of memories with her I will never forget.

I was honored to have known your mother. She was a blessing to so many with her beautiful spirit and smile. She helped with my children as their principal through out their grade school days. I know she is with her Lord. May she Rest In Peace.

Hey Neighbors,
Just think......your mom & dad are together with Jesus & the rest of our families. I've always considered Marilyn my spiritual God Mother.....Remember the wonderful days at Sunrise Chapel....If anyone could be a compassionate friend....she was #1. With Inez & Marilyn, the three moms shared many cups of coffee, tea, & home made cookies together....Family was always first. Watching Jeff & Becky grow up ....Jeff, the first day you rode the buss #9, Mr. Eslinger, I cried....you all were growing up too fast. Doesn't seem possible. See you at the funeral home. Mary Ann

Marilyn is celebrating her lifelong dream of being with her Savior in Paradise today. She lived a life touched by Jesus and everyone knew it. What a great wife, mother, and grandparent she was and what a mentor for men and women alike. God bless the family with comfort and peace, knowing that Marilyn is ready for eternity filled with JOY and peace with her sweetheart and Savior.

I was so sorry to read of Marilyn's passing. Marilyn was Principal at Walkerton when my Mom finished her teaching years there. Marilyn was always kind and generous whenever I saw her in later years. She was a great role model and I am sure you will cherish your many, many memories.

Mrs. Lightfoot was my 4th grade teacher ai Lakeville. I remember her encouragement in reading and she required us all to memorize and recite Psalm verses , particularly The Lord's Prayer. I still remember my 4th grade year of school because of her encouragement and kindness.

When I worked in Plymouth at the welfare office,24 yrs ago, I met Marilyn. I found her to be both professional and friendly, with a deep caring for students at her school. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Marilyn was such a wonderful Christian lady. Don and I always enjoyed talking with her, especially when the cousins got together. I know she will be greatly missed by all of your family. We know she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior in heaven. May God be with you all at this time and always.

Sincerely,
