I will miss Lou and his willingness to help out at the museum. Several years ago he became one of our volunteers through a volunteer fair. He took our visitors on tours of the museum and shared his typing skills by doing transcriptions. We all enjoyed brief glimpses into his world travels and military service.

Tina, I am so sorry. Lou was an amazing person. I really enjoyed visiting with him during our card club dinners. Wish I could be there on Saturday, but I will be out of town. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Lou was one of a kind. A very special man that will be missed by all. Especially by the children of First UCC. We will miss his kind spirit and his seemingly endless energy to joke and tease. Prayers to all who loved & knew Lou. Now begins a new chapter of all of our lives, but we can rest easy knowing Lou is with our Lord and we will see him again someday.

Tina...
We are so sorry and shocked to learn of Lou's passing. Losing him on Christmas day has got to be hard but at the same time seems "beautiful" being a day we celebrate Christ. Just know we hurt for you and send Love and hugs your way

The staff at the museum send prayers to the family. Lou was a cheerful volunteer and he always had a story or joke the minute he came in the door. Lou didn’t know a stranger and he enjoyed giving tours and meeting people. He will be missed in many ways but we are so fortunate to have had the experience of knowing such an interesting and kind gentleman.

Tina:
I know you as a friend of students that I have taught in the past. I also know you and Louis as having been in the First UCC congregation in Bremen where I have been organist for years. I have trouble realizing that change is a fact of life, however the passing of Louis is not a welcome change. Living alone brings many changes to who remains. May he rest in peace and may you have strength for the coming challenges.
