Never ever saw Harry without a smile. He never forgot a person he had met and always had an amusing comment

I looked forward to running into him and knowing that I would leave a smile about what he had said

I am proud to call Harry one of my friends. I worked with him in the 70's and 80's and enjoyed his humor and company. Go rest high on that mountain - you have earned you place In heaven ---

Diane and family -

Although Phil and I were only lucky enough to get to spend a short afternoon with you and Harry at the time of our high school class reunion, we both came away from the experience feeling so happy to see you in your home and the surroundings of your everyday life. Thank you for sharing that bit of your life with us.

Diane, we want to extend our sympathy and condolences to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Marilyn and Phil Milner

It is with great sadness that I read of Harry’s death.
I once lived next door to his sister, Evelyn Gentry, and first met him then.
Next I saw him again when we met during hospice bereavement classes when Diane ‘s dad’s death occurred.
As I recall, he was a wonderful support to you, Diane as together you worked through the grief process.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
Sincerely,
Pauline Pierson

My heartfelt sympathy goes to the family. It is always a hard thing to deal with the loss of a loved one, but especially when it happens at this time of year. I have fond memories of Harry when I worked at United Telephone Co. in the repair department. He was one of the best in so many ways. Harry would want you to have a great holiday season and not have his death tarnish your joy and happiness. He was a man of faith and is in a wonderful place now. Rest assured that his years of faithful service has brought him great joy today. God bless you all.

Diane,

My condolences on the loss of Harry. He was truly a delight to all who knew him. As we all worked together at United Telephone, I have many fond memories of you both. As a 4-H Horse and Pony Leader, I saw Harry's dedication to the kids and his beloved drill team.

Take comfort in knowing someday the entire family chain will link again.

I was a telephone operator when Harry was I & R for UTS/Sprint and he even installed the jacks where I needed them in my apartment in 1982. He was always smiling and a gentleman when talking to us gals. Sending prayers to Diane and hope her 2019 is a healthier and less stressful year. God Bless
