Terry and family,

Fred and I were so sorry to hear about Gene's passing. We know he has been through incredible suffering and worked so hard to regain his health. Now he is at peace.

'We will always remember his unique sense of offbeat humor, which always brought a smile to our faces. And his absolute love for music and his guitars. He reminded me of my own father's lifelong love of music.

Fred and I will be thinking of you and your family during these difficult days.

He fought so hard to stay here with you but his body was weak and had to leave this Earth. Our world is a little dimmer without his spark of genius to give light. Now he is whole again in body and soul. We will miss his wit and his music. Godspeed, Gene. We all loved you.

Your family was a very big part of my life as my kids were in your home every day for years. Gene always made me laugh and we always shared a witty word when we saw each other. Terry, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I always enjoyed talking with you and Gene when I dropped the girls off or picked them up. He was such a fun person to be around and you always made the days fun for the girls. They have fond memories of you.
