Steve was a good friend and lodge brother. He was always jovial and loved to joke around. I will miss him greatly. Just a few weeks ago he pulled a prank on me and got me good. I had fixed the screen on his phone as he was prone to breaking them and the next day after I had fixed it he caked and said he had broke his screen again. Boy was I mad at him, then he tells me he was joking. Got me good

Dear Teri and Fred,
I was very sorry to read of the passing of Steve. Losing someone is very difficult, regardless, of the circumstances. I know as you struggle to get through this difficult time, the love and support of family, along with wonderful memories and your faith will provide you with needed strength. His smile will be missed! Tears are the price we must pay for loving someone. Keeping you both in my prayers.

I always valued Steve's friendship and our conversations. I have fond memories of playing basketball with him for sure. I loved talking about the Cubs with him. He always talked so much about his nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed. God's Speed Steve.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Steve. Corky Lingle and I enjoyed Steve's wonderful demeanor while broadcasting Pilgrim basketball games in the mid 1970's. He would always come over and spend time talking to us before and after games. He had many friends who will miss his brilliant smile. God bless the family with peace and know that Steve is in a better place today.
