To the Ruiz family,
It has been many years since Ralph and I served together in the Army and Guard. Likewise it has been many years since we last visited, probably at the Legion, or after mass, or wherever and whenever I may have been visiting Plymouth. But, at those times, as always Ralph was always reflecting light and a big smile and it didn't matter what the occasion was when we met. So now, With the Saints give rest, O Christ, to the soul of your Servant Ralph, where there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing but life everlasting.

Ralph is my friend whom I called Amigo. I enjoyed talking to him at Lodge 741 or Post 27 over the years into retirement.

To the Ruiz family and extended: I am so sorry for your loss. Your father, husband, grandfather was a stand up guy. Whenever there was some activity going on for kids or the family, he was always there with you. He was a devoted Catholic and a wonderful presence during mass at St Michael's.
