Nothing can prepare us for loss. Gods word the Bible gives us comfort, it provides hope. “There is going to be a resurrection.” (Acts 24:15) God will restore life to those who have died, and they will have the prospect of living forever in paradise on earth. This is a promise from God, which we can have confidence in because he “cannot lie.” (Titus 1:2) May this hope comfort your greiving hearts. I am sorry for your loss.

Dearest Neighbors,

My name is Ethan Masterson, and I decided to write you this message to convey just how sorry I am for your loss. It is never an easy thing to lose a loved one in death. This said, the second reason I wanted to write all of you is to give you a hope for the future-Romans 15:4. What hope exists for those who have died?

The common belief about death in our area is that death is the end of the line with no hope in sight. However, please notice what god's own son Jesus Christ said about this subject at John 5:28, 29. There he said, "28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out; 29 those who practiced good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment"-New World translation. We can see from these verses that very soon, the dead will rise. The Bible also teaches that death will one day be totally eliminated.
