My love and prayers to you all. Lucy was a wonderful lady. I am so happy that I had so many years with her. No one could want more in a very special Mother-in-Law. God bless you all.

I've known Lucy all my life. I first met her as a child when she worked in the dental office in Argos. Many years later I came into the bank and she recognized me immediately. When I married Mike, I would see Lucy at Suzie Kopetski's family functions, and Lucy never failed to come across and greet me and ask about my family.

Lucy knew my entire family -- my mother, all five aunts, and several cousins. She always enjoyed talking with me about them. As I grow older, it is harder to find someone who knew my family. Lucy did, and it meant a lot to me that she always sought me out to speak to me.

A lovely lady who exuded love and kindness to everyone she met. She will be remembered with the love she gave.

You were always my favorite aunt, Aunt Lucy. We had so much fun going to your house every Sunday and going camping with you. You were the best cook. And you had an amazing way of making everyone feel so special. You will be so missed because you were so loved.

Jerry and I thought so much of Lucy. I so enjoyed our lunches with the bank girls! We had such fun reminicing. Lucy was so kind, sweet to all, giving, and sharing with all of the people she met or knew What a legacy she has left for all of her children and grandchildren God Bless

Praying for all of you to find strength to get through your grief in the days ahead. Smiling and laughing at the memories will take you far. With that said, you know that your mom was special and even what small piece of her life that my family shared with yours has a place in my heart to this day. I am ever so grateful that Lucy and "kids" came to my mom's (Genny Welborn Walker) 80th birthday open house. Such a nice surprise to see you guys!
Just remember to smile during the tears.
