Bob, Phil and Larry. and your families.

Larry and I are sad to read about Ethel's passing. This picture of her is so typical of her smile. She was always smiling and so much fun. She will be remembered as one of the women of that greatest generation that worked hard and loved her beloved family to the utmost. You have a wonderful role model to follow and we know you can do it. Cherish those memories and now she and your Dad are together at last.

Dear Bob, Phil, Larry and Families,

We are so sad to see that your mother passed away. She was such a beautiful, talented and vibrant lady. We’re so glad that we were able to spend some time with her just a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the service on Wednesday, but you will all be in our hearts and in our prayers.

Bob, Phil, and Larry,
Gary and I are so sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. Every time I think of her I smile!
I must share a story with you that I know you will think very typical of your mom!!
She volunteered to bake a cake for my mom’s birthday. We were all over at the Spier’s celebrating when she brought out her ‘famous sponge cake’!! It was beautiful with chocolate frosting. Ethel handed the cake to Mom who commented on how light it was. Well, Mom tried to cut it and couldn’t get the knife to slice. She tried and tried until your mom started laughing so hard!! You guessed it-it was a real sponge!! What a fun lady Ethel was! I know she will be missed!
Love and prayers to you all!

Dan and I are sorry for your loss. Ethel always made the Greenlee house a great place to visit and hang out. She was one of those women to be admired for her infectious laughter and the glint in her eye when she smiled. It couldn't have been that easy with all those boys, but she was so loving and tolerant. She will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of the Ethel’s passing. The Greenlee Family had a big impact on me in my childhood. Ethel’s Swedish pancakes when we camped out, back yard football games on Saturday, watching professional wrestling in the basement and trying a few moves out. The antics of Bob, Phil and Larry were beyond imagination. Lowell picking me up and carrying me into the house after I was hit by the car. Helping your mom tear apart furniture for a short stint. She hated those staples. God Bless you all. Wishing you peace and comfort.
