I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. No matter how long we have our parents in our lives, it's never long enough. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Neighbors,

I would just like to start by saying how truly sorry I am for your loss. Death is by far the hardest thing we have to go through as humans, mainly because it affects all of us no matter what stage or station we find ourselves in in life. My name is Ethan Masterson, and I live in the area. I am also one of Jehovah's Witnesses. This being the case, I am a very small part of a global volunteer work taking place in over 235 lands. The purpose of this work is to help interested people find hope for the future from God's Word the Bible. Have you ever wondered for example, what hope, if any, exists those who have died?

People have been asking themselves the above question for centuries. Sad to say, many people view death with a sense of finality, as the end of everything. Opinions on the subject very greatly. Some feel that when a person dies, he or she is transported to either heaven or a fiery hell, based on his or her deeds while living. Others believe that upon death, a person is given a new life based on their actions in the previous one. But what hope does the Bible offer those who passed away in death. I invite you to please take your copy of God's word and open it to John 5:28, 29. There we are told, "do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have practiced good things to a resurrection of life, and those who have practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment"-New World translation. It is abundantly clear from the verses we just considered that very soon those who are sleeping in death will be awakened to life. God's Word the Bible also speaks of a time when death will be completely eliminated. If you would like to learn more about this, please feel free to contact me using my information below.
