Susan, Charlies's family & friends,
I offer my deep condolences, but also want to celebrate and pray thanks for a life well lived. I have know Charlie since the early 1940's ,when he lived on Third Street & my brother, Denny and I lived right down the alley on 5th St., in Plymouth. Thought it has been several years since we last visited I still remember how much Charlie reflected a love for nature and God's bounty and harvest. He was quite and unassuming, but always had a happy sparkle in his eyes, and I am sure his heart too.
May our lord hold him in his arms now and forever. And, this 4th of July time frame provides an excellent opportunity to say "Thank you Charles", for serving our country during your time in the U.S. Army.

Dear Susan,
I am saddened to see we lost a friend! I grew up on Lake Av. just around the corner from the Gordon's. Charlie was one of the Big Kids in the hood. I have seen much of him in the last few years relaxing with friends at the Coffee Lodge. There is now an empty seat! Another piece of the good old days that is gone.. RIP Charlie, I will miss you!

Some of my earliest memories are of being with Charlie and my dad while they planned fishing and hunting trips. Charlie always had a big shiny red apple to hand me to eat as I patiently waited and listened to their plans. Often times dad would take me along for coffee with Charlie. I loved his smile and his soft laugh. CG, I am sure you and TWT are fishing and laughing and working out details on your next adventure in Heaven. I will miss you CG.
CG and TWT as they called each other, started their friendship in kindergarten and it continued until my dad passed 3 years ago. They could be found at local coffee shops and at lakes and in the woods or constructing a building or such.
Rest In Peace CG. My condolences to Susan and Kim Weaver and family.
