Sympathies to Lucille's loving family at this time. Lucille gave so much of herself to her family and Church family. She lived a long and fruitful life and will be greatly missed.

Lucille was a very resourceful and capable woman of many gifts and talents. Her presence in the Plymouth Church of the Brethren reflected her strong faith and willingness to share them. You could find her teaching Sunday school along with husband Eldon, or helping in the kitchen. But I was always amazed at the deftly arranged altar bouquets from her own garden, especially the huge baskets of lilacs!
Lucille certainly has left a loving legacy to her family and church family and we will miss her!

May loving memories wash over you as you say farewell to this one of a kind lady!

One of my most lasting memories of Lucille were of the beautiful and bountiful bouquets of flowers that she and Eldon brought for their Sunday School classes.

Another memory is of her picking up my Grandma Stoops and taking her to their house or who knows where to do who knows what! Grandma always had a good time and enjoyed getting out of the house
and doing something fun and different.

Lucille seemed to practice what she preached, and she preached with a woman's experienced voice and a profound example of love and compassion.
