We extend our deepest sympathy to Mick's family. She and Roger graduated
together in the Plymouth High School class of 1950. Mick and Arlene were sorority sisters
and became especially close during our alumnae memberships.

May remembering the happy days bring you peace and comfort.

Peace and grace,

Roger and Arlene (Fouts) McCan

To all Mick's surviving relatives,

Our condolences for your loss. We know she was loved by many for her integrity, acts of kindness and thoughtfulness. What an neat story of how she was nicknamed Mick by her sister. We didn't know her by any other name! Mick was a classy lady that will be missed by many. May God comfort you in your time of sadness.

To All of the Nelson Family,
Mick and I served together on the Worship Committee at our Presbyterian Church for many years. She was the chairman of our committee, and she was a great chairman. She had such good ideas, and I looked forward to hearing what the next one would be. They always turned out well and just the way she intended.

She also lived in the Nelson family home with Gordy which was only a block from our house. I was in your home several times, and I always felt like it was a home filled with family love accumulated through many, many years. I always admired how close you were to one another and how much you enjoyed each other. You have already lost quite a few and now Mick is another. I am sure there is another happy Nelson family reunion going on in heaven.

My sympathy to you all,

Most sincerely,

I just now read of Mick's passing so am sorry for the lateness of this condolence message..

When my husband's first teaching job landed us in Plymouth it was a much smaller city and I sooned realized I needed to find a job in order to 'get acquainted'..

I met Mick and she hired me as an assistant at Morrow's and needless to say she pretty much knew everyone and therefore introduced me to many people in town..

She was a JOY to work for and we often joked about the temptation of eating too many donuts from the bakery nextdoor when the aroma drifted into our office..

We continued to exchange Christmas cards/updates thru the years and then lost track once she moved to St. Joseph...however I learned of her move and sent her a card in 2017..

Her family and friends were BLESSED to have Mick in their lives..

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not di
