Remember fondly Steve as a faithful customer at our Christian Bookstore - The Cross Walk. He was always so encouraging and thoughtful of others, we all enjoyed his visits to the store. His love for the Lord and his heart for others was evident in every conversation we shared. May the promise of a heavenly reunion and a faith that sustains, be a source of strength in the days ahead. Prayers are covering all of you... Fondly, The Delp Family

Penny, Steve & Katie and Grand boys,Cassandra, Becky, and all family and friends,

Death is a painful loss. A sudden and unjustified death is felt even more deeply. We are so deeply sorry for this great earthly loss of such a wonderful man (husband, father,Grandfather, brother, friend) who had a love for God and a love for people and life. I pray while you walk this valley of grief and pain that you will see Steve on that Mountain top that our Lord has promised to those who love him. There are so many things that stand out when thinking about Steve, how he had this amazing creative ability to turn a piece of metal into something useful, a piece of chicken in something delicious,an electric wire to its' given place. He had a disciples heart for people to help them advance in life(physically and Spiritually), he even learned a second language to help accomplish that. We will miss him, he was a rare treasury of a friend. Currently we are on the west coast and will not be able to attend Friday, but our heart and prayers will be with you all at this most difficult time.

Dear Pletcher family,

Words cannot express how sorry we were to learn about the untimely passing of our brother Steve. Our loss is Heaven's gain! We take comfort in the fact that Steve is with the Lord. Only when we ourselves get to Heaven will we see the impact that Steve had on so many lives--the families in Peru who were helped by his missions, the organization he set up in order to continue to bless them, the various churches he played in, the men who worked for him, the local families he reached out to . . . we are sure that the list goes on.

He was a good friend who will be missed by many. We will be praying for you all. God bless you and may God wrap you in His arms during this difficult time.
