So sorry to hear of Jan's passing. She was such a beautiful, dear person that loved her family more than herself. After moving to Plymouth in High School, I spent a great deal of time at the Badell compound on PCC. During High School, thru college and for many years thereafter, Jan was a very positive influence in my life. She was someone that not just her children, but her children's friends could feel comfortable confiding in about anything and everything. I can't think of anybody else's Mom that had such a kind and charming way of engaging and guiding her children, and all of the crazy kids her children brought home, down the path of life. My heart goes out to Doug, Jeff, Kim, Pam and all of the extended family that Jan and Doug have gained through their wonderful children. You can't fake great kids; and, Doug and Jan raised really great kids... While we will miss Jan dearly, we will never forget her beauty, her grace and her unconditional love and kindness that she showed every day of her life. Nancy and I send our heartfelt condolences and message of love and caring to all of the Badells, Wilsons & Fasteens.

Doug. Jeff. Kim. Pam. I am so so sadden by the passing of Jan. She was so loved by all of you as well as many others, myself included. She was always so kind to me and I am very sad that I will not be able to tell her so and give her a big hug like I have in the past. I remember all the good times had at your home and how you all made me feel very comfortable as a friend to the whole family. My good thought s and prayers are with you all David Myers

Doug and family, Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear wife, mother and grandma. We knew Jan from the dental office. She was always so caring, kind and compassionate. Such a sweet lady.
