I am Linda Hoover, daughter of Dollie Abair Hoover and cousin to Lillian. Lillian's mother, Shirley, was my mom's big sister.

I was enough younger than Lillian that she always seemed more like an aunt to me--she being the oldest of the eldest of Ruth and Lloyd Abair's children and me being the much younger of Dollie's children. (Dollie was right in the middle, along with her twin, Donald.)

I fondly remember spending time with Lillian at my Grandma Abair's house and also seeing her at my Aunt Shirley's farm quite a few times.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Mrs.Slonaker was my bus driver for many years. She was a good driver and I enjoyed riding on her bus. I was in the same grade as her son Allen. Sorry for your loss. Thinking of all of you at the time.

My sincere condolence to all of Lillian's families. I did not know her but have a connection through Dean & his mother, Rose, and the Heiser families & the many Johnson/Davis family reunions. So sorry for your loss. I know Lillian will be missed by many.

I was not quite 8 years old when Lillian arrived on the scene. She was my first niece and I was so proud to tell the kids at school that I was an aunt. She, with her sisters, were playmates with me and my youngest sister, Alice, who entered eternal rest just a few weeks ago. I shall miss both of them very much but have many memories of good times together. May God be with all of Lillian's family. She was one of His treasures.

To Charlotte Barnhart and Dean, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. (Dean may not remember me as I was in Charlotte's class at West High School and moved away just before the 1956 class graduation.) My thoughts are with you & your family at this difficult time.

Mrs. Slonaker was a very kind woman. I remember having 4H meetings at the new house a couple of times, and have fond memories of that time. My condolences to the family.
