Very few people in my adult life have made me laugh until I cried. Duke Kuskye was one of those people. When he opened a conversation with you, you just knew for certain that you could put your troubles on the back burner because it was bye, bye blackbird. When his beloved brother Larry would join in, it was Katy bar the door and good night nurse. This was Duke's blessing to us all, his God given talent. With a twinkle in his eye and smile on his face, he could lift your spirits and help you find the joy in your life. I am a far better man for having known him. My love and deepest sympathies go out to all the Kuskye family. Rest in Gentle Peace, Duke.

I remember my uncle Duke with a smile and how he could make a person laugh. He will always be remembered for when I was little Aunt Marlene and him would take me with them places My mom would tell me about this as I became older. I love you and know that you, Aunt Marlene and your family are enjoying this time of being reunited. I'M sorry for your loss Debbie Tim Lori and Lisa. The memories you will share will have you laughing and some will be with tears. He loved his family and GOD bless you all.

Larry and I want to send condolences to the family of Duke. We have known Duke since our days at Trinity United Methodist Church, when he was in our group that went for coffee after church.. He lived long enough to see the CUBBIES win the 2016 World Series, and am sure he raised his hand to Jack & Jerry Greenlee and said "we did it Guys". His heart never mended after Marlene passed away and now they can be together for ever.

Deb, Tim, Lisa and Lori - gosh - can't say enough about your dad. What a wonderful man. He was always happy to see me and was always so kind. Such fond memories of riding the little mini bike in the front yard of the old house. The sweet memorires of picnics at my Mom and Dad's lake house. He had a way of just making you feel you were the most important person around when you were chatting. I loved him dearly and will miss him dearly!!! I pray you all find peace during this time and know that your Mom is so happy to have him by her side again. Much love to you all!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kuskye family at this sad time. I have known the family for many years and Duke was a special one to all. He and Marlene were special people. I was glad to see Duke as a greeter at Walmart and he had a smile for everyone. May God Bless each of you

Dear Kuskye Family
I am writing on behalf of my father, Robert Finn to express our condolences in the loss of your father. Dad and Duke worked together at the SB Tribune for many, many years. Due to my father's age and health we were unable to attend the visitation or service. I just you to know that my Dad was deeply saddened by Duke's passing, "he was a great guy". God bless you all

I got to know Duke through our attendance at Cicero Christian Church and some of its men's group activities. We would share our ideas on things going on especially sports. Duke was easy to talk to and with and I am saddened to hear of his passing. I did get to visit him at the health care facility in Noblesville a week before he passed and tried to catch him up on some things going on..
