My heart goes out to the family, i did not know her, but being a co worker for the poor hand maids of Jesus Christ and working with her niece Sr. Kathleen, her love was felt. May she rest in peace.

from all the students and teachers of St. Catherine of /Sienna in Hammond Ind. still rememberthat "vital and active teacher" who gave so much to the students, and also made learning fun and enjoyably. We still remember all the fun and joy we had with Sister Marjaleen Kelley . We all miss those days, but will remember "Kelley" forever,you will never be forgotten. God Speed to you Marjaleen

Sister Marjaleen was my 6th grade teacher and I guess my favorite nun at St. Ann grade school. I remember she played baseball with us during recess. I loved her

i met sr. marjaleen thru a 60 year old friendship of sister celine....sorry for your loss and know she is with god as she was thru out her life...i feel bad for sr. celine and her loss of a friend she care for a long time......

All the Members of St. Catherine of Sienna will miss our most precious Sister,and her smiling and her sunnys disposition and all her "jokes and other thingsgoo" will be remembered by every member of our parish........Go Sister and rest well. you will be missed by many students and parents.
You will be remembered by me for your kind assistance with my Husband and I, ad he wasn't Catholic,but loved this women very much for her humor and good nature and love for everyone she met.

Dearest Sister Marjaleen we want you to know that the people from St.Catherine of Siena Parish, are ALL
sending you such love and sympathy on losing you. You will be remembered in the young people you taught but also by the parishiners that you made contact with also/also some people that weren't cathlotic but still loved you in your ways my husband who wasn't Catholic but was a Coach and would tease you when you weren't giving his "boys" a good grade. I am sending you all oue lOVE AND SAFE PASSAGE TO HEAVEN.
