I have alway known him as Lamar. My grandmother on my dad's side was Vera Metcalf and I have memories of Uncle Eldon( middle name) and Aunt Faye at family reunions. Lamar was just a couple of years older than my oldest sister Jackie. Our daughters are all close friends with Holli and she has always spoken so highly of her grandpa. I now live in southern Indiana and am unable to travel but I want to say how sorry I am for your loss. Lamar was alway a shining light and a pleasure to have as family. My prayers will be with you and your family through this hard time.

Eldon was a gentle and sweet man who touched my heart deeply. He loved to sing and I loved how bravely he faced the challenges he faced. May God bless his family as they go through this time of grief. We rejoice in his life and we know he is in the arms of Jesus.
