We were deeply saddened to read Rick's obituary. I hope that you will find comfort in the stories and many kind words in the days forward. We lived next to Rick in Osceola. My husband was always envious of his eX-mark! He was a quiet and kind man. He really seemed to open up after marrying Chun Yan and always wore a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye. The last we spoke with Rick was May 2014. Rick and Chun Yan talked about moving to the Birmingham area and I am so happy that they were able to achieve that goal. Within the past year I had searched for listings for him in order to reconnect and pick up where we left off, but was unsuccessful. I will always remember his gentle soul, kind words, quirky humor, smile and his love for life.
