My family sends our heartfelt condolences to your family. Paul was a wonderful man. He was so friendly, never met a stranger. My parents knew your family from years ago. We are truly saddened by this tragedy. Paul will be missed by so many.

I am still in shock that the Lord decided that Paul's work here was done. So he took another a Angel home. Paul will definitely be missed by all who ever had the honor of meeting him. I know I for one will miss arguing with him. Hearing all of his stories. And his contagious smile. My prayers go out to Paul's family n friends.

Paul said "Hi" to me every Sunday as I walked out of church. I am going to miss his stories he used to tell Pete and I at either breakfast after church or where ever we saw him. He was a friendly guy for sure. I will miss his smile on Sunday mornings now. My condolences to the family, I remember him coming to Pete's wake and talking to me.

Please accept our sincere condolences on this tragic loss. We met Paul a number of times over the years at various family functions and have always liked him and enjoyed talking to him. We knew Paul best through stories from Paul's brother Don, about life on the farm as they were growing up. Don and I worked together for years at International Harvester Engineering, and have remained best friends to this day. Linda and I are truly sorry and our thoughts and prayers are with Paul and the entire family.

My deepest condolences on the loss of Paul. I knew Paul from St. Mike's and remembered many conversations with him before and after Mass, during my days as an Alter Server. He was a character who brought color to many lives. He will be missed. My prayers not only for Paul, but the family and friends he leaves behind.

Please accept my condolences. Paul was my bus driver years ago, but I knew him prior to that from my time growing up at St. Michael's. He was a dear, kind person. I still occasionally ran into him at the grocery store, and he always remembered me and would say hello. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are in my prayers.

Paul was such a nice man and would do anything to help someone else. He will be missed by so many. Loved to listen to his stories and he was always a tease. The Ganshorn family will miss him stopping in just to see how they were doing. Rest in peace our dear friend!

Thoughts and prayers to Paul's family. Even after 40 years when I rode his bus to West School, he never forgot my name...pretty amazing with how many kids he had over his years as a driver.

I was saddened to hear of Paul's tragic death. I can't believe that someone(s) would be so cruel as to take his life. My heart & prayers goes out to Paul's family.

I knew Paul and his parents many years ago. We lived right down the road on the Markley farm (late 60's) when my parents (Beulah & Jay Daugherty, became friends with his parents. We had many good visits with both his Mother, Father & Paul. Paul was a very kind man with an easy smile.

Again prayers for all of you.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Paul. I remember him from auctioneering many years ago. Learned to know him on a first name basis during my 10 years working maintenance with the school corporation, and driving substitute bus. Enjoyed talking to him in the years after my tenure there. He was one of the "good guys", and will be greatly missed. Respectfully, Ron Becker

on behalf of the family of Paul's Uncle Francis, our very deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to the family of Paul, who, when back to this area, never failed to stop, regradless of the time of day, to stop at Francie's house in Dixon; always a story to share and memories to be reflected upon. He was a wonderful person...never a dull moment. He'll be missed..God Bless...

Paul was my bus driver, and I always remember at the end of the school year, he would park the bus at the Dairy Queen so we could all get ice cream. If someone didn't have enough money, or forgot their money, Paul would chip in so everyone could enjoy a treat. He was a kind man. My condolences to all.

Marshall County has lost a dear friend. Paul always had a kind word, an interesting story and a sincere interest in the young people and children that rode his bus. Later, seeing him at local restaurants he never forgot who you were or your children and always asked about them. We had the upmost respect for Paul, our family was saddened to hear of this tragedy and loss of a dear life.
